The Hampton Hall Golf Course first opened for play in 2004. The course was designed by Pete Dye.
Nestled within 1,000 pristine acres in Bluffton, South Carolina, Hampton Hall is a private golf community. The golf course is the jewel of the community. Hampton Hall has few of the wild touches Dye is known for - the railroad-tie bunkers, the spectator mounds, the island greens. This Dye Design is a more conservative, links-like layout with wide and generous fairways, artful bunkering and traditional, though challenging, green complexes. The interior of the layout is fairly open and many of the holes are lined by thick pine forest, particularly on the front nine. This is a playable, enjoyable course that offers all sorts of interesting options.
Typical of a Dye course, they have length if you so choose. - Hampton Hall plays to 7,503 yards from the back tees. However, multiple tees means you can choose as much challenge as you want. From the back tees Hampton Hall has a course rating of 76.9 and a slope rating of 137. Par for Hampton Hall Golf Course is 72.

Pete Dye layout. Nice course and pace of play had me play 3 1/2 hours in a twosome. Little pricey compared to surrounding courses but still a good value.
